I'll tell you what awaits!

Ma'fuckin' LAVOS!! Overfiend of time itself! And literal consumer of worlds!
Play Chrono Trigger, other than being obnoxious I really did enjoy this! 5/5

Lavos... He's been with us since 65'000'000 B.C. and he'll stay with us until he ends it in a blaze of glorious evil!

Sandwhich-lord responds:

You are quite literally reviewing a song made by a fossil , i had that game on the "mofo'ing " Snes , absolutly spiffing game it was. Cheer for the review squire.

Bear with me

The song is dope as all hell, 5/5 and all that shit I usually say... Why I am writing this is to exclaim, "THANK YOU!" Almost no one uses the phrase 'anything but' or 'all but' correctly! Props on the grammar G! Sorry for the lame review, just know that almost all of your work will be found in my high standing... I don't think that's saying much... MODESTY!

ChronoNomad responds:

That's probably why I instruct College Writing; grammar and syntax are my bread and butter. Glad that you love another of my songs, and I always appreciate a fellow advocate of proper language skills! I could say so much more, but...modesty forbids. :)

Fuckin' awesome!

I have recently been playing a lot of Chrono Trigger (I kept downloading so many songs that I had to beat it again) So right now this song reminds me of the return to Gaurdia Castle after defeating Magus and Charging the Pendant with the Mammon Machine; If Marle is in your party and you speak to the King, he will disown her and take to his chambers. If you follow him up there and speak to him again, Marle tries to give him a gift (some kind of sweets) and he becomes irate! Saying something about high cholesterol... Sorry for the fuckin' novel.

It's a really good mix, I found it a little short but then again I'm used to it looping in the game. It's rather difficult for me to find a decent version of this song, and this makes the grade! 5/5 count on a downlizzle my friend...

Realmguys responds:

I'm glad you liked it, you're the only consistant voice that I have seen regarding CT remixes and remakes, so I made this one with you in mind. I'm going to attempt a better Robo remake as well.
But I really appreciate the comments and feedback. And I loved your novel of text, it was great ;) Catch you later.

Awesome despite the genre!

I'd like to hear this in a submission of some sort! I think it would sound good in a submission like Cactus McCoy... which was an awesome game! I'm thinking I'm gonna download this track actually, we started running an old west campaign setting in D&D and I think this would be dope to play at the table. Thanks again guy, oh and I dig the in character response to Taz9010! 5/5 Downlizzle

ChronoNomad responds:

We're gonna hit the ol' saloon and get you a round of yer choice too, buckaroo! It was a blast to make this, and in a way it was kind of inspired by Stephen King's gunslinger from the Dark Tower series, too. Thanks for reviewing something different. It was a pretty big departure from my normal stuff.

Yeah, I loved Cactus McCoy, as well. That game was off the hook, yo! It would be very cool to have my music in a game like that. Speaking of which, there are some games that will be coming out in the not-so-distant future that will feature some of my tracks. Keep an eye out! :D

I never wanna hear that again!

On this earth, there is no man whom may utter the words "easy", "battle", and "Lavos" in the same sentence much less the same breath! Lest ye be struck down by Raptor Jesus! It's still a pretty good mix though, I thought it was a little soft with no ummf to it, but otherwise it's excellent! Still, that comment pisses me off! Go play Final Fantasy IV and tell me how easy that boss is!( If you don't already know, he was cake-work!) Sorry for the bum wrap guy, 5/5. Buuuuuuuuuut, I deducted 2 stars because of your insolence! take it easy guy!

Whargarble responds:

Lavos is really, really easy. Zeromus is not.

I'd call it metal....

To me, in order to capture the punk feel your lyrics have to be.... like slammin' the Gov. and society! Not always I guess.... maybe I'm being stereotypical. Anyway, when I listened to it, it sounded a little like Iron Maiden, and that's why I said metal. But towards mid-end of the song it dips off into punk until about 3:25, then it picks up with the Maiden sound! All in all, I gave you a 5/5 for it being the shit!

BERSERKYD responds:

Yeah, Goverment, self esteme, being yourself... well punk is there to denounce something and its defenitly for marginal. Well Is always good to know the interpratation of someone else. And yeah you point it right ! Maiden is the word ;) ! Thanks for the review !

Fuck 'em!

Crono would kick Link's ass through his stomach anyway! I looooove ambient mixes of Chrono Trigger! This is some truly magical business right here son! Every time I hear this song, I get that accelerated heart-beat that a lot of people would analogize to love. It's that way for me concerning a lot of Chrono Trigger songs. Did you know that the legendary video game composer Nobuo Uematsu (known best for his work with almost every final fantasy title) composed music for Chrono Trigger alongside Yasunori Mitsuda and Noriko Matsueda? Best news I've ever gotten in my entire life! And I'm the proud father to 3 boys! Just kidding about my being a father... but when I do become a dad, my children will know that they come in at a distant 3rd! My wife at a 2nd, and Chrono Trigger a 1st!

Look me in the face and tell me that isn't great parenting! My kids will learn how to prioritize! 5/5 and a downlizzle!

ChronoNomad responds:

Heh heh, so glad you enjoyed this one, too! Many thanks for all the overtime you put in when it comes to reviewing my jams. Honestly, I don't really see Crono and Link being enemies and fighting each other. Instead, I think they'd fight together to kick the crap out of evil throughout the universe. Wow, that would be some kind of awesome, actually...

Yes, indeed! I am extremely well familiarized with my man Nobuo Uematsu. He's one of the single biggest musical inspirations, after all. I'm sure that your children (when they come along) will understand the importance of his legacy, and the true epicness of Chrono Trigger, all thanks to dear ol' dad. :)

Damn you!

And your insatiable love for the piano! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! it's soooo awesome! Too damn short though... I know what your gonna say too, "But EJ. The original song is really short an-" blah blah blah! You know what? You're made of excuses! Why don't you just do a REAL cover and stop complaining! 5/5

P.S. This message is the way it is only because I felt like I might have been on your dick with some of my other reviews. This one's more or less for me and my credibility as an asshole... Let me know what's good on them zero bombers!

ChronoNomad responds:

No excuses: it's short and sweet, and for all its short sweetness it still manages to kick all kinds of ass. I like it a lot, and the requester is very happy with the end result, so...w00t!

Keep your street cred, and go buy yourself something shiny with it. I'll just go on being awesome because I can. Ninja out. (;

Very nice!

It definitely brings up some feelings when you hear it. The legend of Zelda is an absolute favorite of mine! My favorite game of the series is "Link's Awakening". I'm way to far gone to be doing a review right now.... so I'm going to go to bed.

This review is realistic, I mean, for Christ sake a man goes to sleep in this thing!

ChronoNomad responds:

Link's Awakening! That one was for the old-school GameBoy, but I remember it well. I find that to be a really interesting choice since most folks claim "A Link to the Past" or "Ocarina of Time" as their favorites. I guess the fact that it was the first ever portable LoZ game does make it kind of amazing. I really loved that title, myself.

Thanks for another interesting review! Now go release the Wind Fish from its slumber within that gigantic egg, but don't go snooping in other people's dressers and stuff. Other folks do that kind of thing in adventures, but not Link. No, sir.

I think you were sent to NG by a higher power

You do Chrono Trigger, piano, AND trance!? Totally put here to entertain my eardrums with some goodness! I really wanna write this review, but I keep getting caught up in the jam, it won't let me concentrate! 5/5 + Download!

ChronoNomad responds:

Thanks for popping my review cherry on Gyroscopic, man! It's hard to tell what people think when I've got just about 100 listens and only a dozen votes, so it's good to know that at least someone out there digs it. I try to be as versatile as possible with my music, especially seeing as how my own tastes are nothing short of eclectic. Keep right on enjoying the jams, bro!
